What to do?

Hi, I've inherited 35 acres and am looking for some advice on what to do with it. I know a bit about farming but I'm complete novice on some things.
I know I can plant it and that would be that but I'm looking for a change of lifestyle and would prefer to put some cattle on it. Was thinking of small breeds like Dexter. How much stock could I have on the 35 acres to allow for grazing + silage if I overwinter? Would I need a slotted house for them? Would appreciate any ideas people have on my options?

    Thanks
    Joe

Would like to be making some money. I know that might not be easy on such a small place but as long as I'm not working for nothing that's ok.

Plenty of good sound farmers on here too!

OP: There has been a few very similar threads to this not so long ago, have a good read and you will pick up a few pointers I'm sure.

Give us a bit more detail of your set-up, land type, and what type of farming interests you.
There is a lot of experience on here and I'm sure if you can think of the questions, someone here will have the answers! (within reason;))
