Alright guys, i'm after getting a Pdi Raven Cylinder Set. The description said for it was for TM Vsr series. I'm having problems with fitting it. When put beside old cylinder the cylinder shaft is about 3mm longer than standard one. I'm having problems when cocking the cylinder and the trigger pull sear will not fully push back up into place. Basically.......have i bought a cylinder that isn't meant for a G-spec and if so why the hell don't the retailers/manufacturers put a disclaimer on the product advert. Cheers guys.

Not sure if this will be much help.

But there is a link at the bottom of the product page regarding the trigger sear. You may need to buy the specific PDI one to use the cylinder set you got. As far as I know the G-Spec uses the same cylinder & trigger set as the standard VSR.

Cheers Bob, seen that but not sure if that could be it. It actually seems like its too long as it doesn't seem to push fully in and the bolt handle catches on receiver when trying to push down into place. I'll look at it again tomorrow as i just got pissed off with it and left it.

Yeah I see. Hmm.. Have you tried taking off the trigger assembly and seeing if the bolt slides in fully, allow the handle to sit in it's proper place?

I have a g-spec myself, but am by no means an expert. Possibly someone else may have a better suggestion.

as bob said you need to check which version you got, they have a version for there original trigger group and for there own custom trigger unit the difference is with the piston no the cylinder

are you using the raven cylinder at the moment? if you are i would recommend switching back to the stock vsr internals but in the raven cylinder
