    Hello all,

I'm doing up a spreadsheet for my b/friend who has managed to get some temporary work. All he has to do is put his hours into the timesheet and the wages should compute themselves.

Only problem is.....I can't for the life of me remember how to do "IF" function correctly for PRSI !!!

I know i want to say..... IF O3 (excel column) is >352 then true is O3-127*4% if false then zero.

Somehow it's giving an incorrect figure. Help please :)

    =IF(O3>352,(O3-127)*0.04,0)

    Try this, hope it works

Thank you :) After staring at it for too long, I got a glass of wine and worked out where I went wrong! The incorrect calculation was 4% of €127 but I stuck the brackets in the correct place and all is as it should be now.

Just gotta work out a better way of calculating the USC now!
