I've already got two of those, ones up sulking on his x-box, the others sulking in front of the tv, cos he didn't get to the xbox fast enough.

The "poor starving kids in Africa" line is getting worn out, and the "Jesus hangs his head in shame" line (my mother was fond of that one:pac:) just makes them laugh....

    That is pretty weird.

I did come across one on gumtree a while back and i'm fairly sure the person was trying to hire a hitman. They essentially said they were due a large inheritance from their granny and if someone could help them 'make it look like an accident' so things would happen quicker - they would be well paid once the money came through. Very dodgy indeed.

Shít thats weird. I tell ya if I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that in the corner of my room I would pass a large brick.

When I first saw it I thought it was a joke! It's easy to dress up one doll, but when I looked at the other pics with the multiple dolls it freaked me out!!!

all a bit Blair Witch isnt it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,386 ✭✭✭Killer Wench

Those dolls are really the perfect set-up for a great horror film. All of these people buy the dolls as a great April Fools joke unknowing that the dolls come awake at night to gobble up souls.

    God, that is weird alright.

I didn't make the 'sulking' connection at first.

I don't like them at all - AT ALL!!!!!:eek:

Because the dolls ate the owner and in an evil twist removed the add so its impossible to trace them

    What exactly was it?

It was, kind of a reallife doll?

Looked like a child had his back to you "in the bold corner"

Very real looking, Girls, boys different dress styles, you'd have to take a second look.

Pretty sure they were €50.. and a nice addition to your living room  typa thing.

    weird ass stuff tbh.

    Those dolls are horrible.

I once saw an ad in a shop on Baggot St. I was on the way home from a club and thought it was a bit mad so took the ad with me and looked at it again the next day. I brought it into work the next day to show my colleagues and they made me ring the person.

Basically this woman found a dead cat at the side of the road. The cat had a collar so the person assumed the cat was owned by someone who might want it back and be worried about it so she took the cat and brought it home, put it into her fridge and then put ads up saying she found this dead cat and described it in detail in the ad saying it was dead and she had it if the owner would like to come collect it.
Like what the hell would you want your cat back for if it was dead ffs?

So I rang her and she was for real. I told her I had lost a cat and thought this might be it. She wanted me to come see the cat in her fridge to check if it was mine but after getting her to describe it to me I said no, it definitely wasn't mine, might had x,y,z markings etc. She sounded disappointed, I think she wanted rid if it. The lunatic. I felt guilty afterwards cos she was obviously genuine and an animal lover.

My OH is German and she says that those sulker dolls are very popular over there. Old people buy them from those tele-shopping channels apparently.
