I have a Advent 7070, and cant get the exernal display to switch over.
The Fn +F4 doesnt work (this is the function command as per spec) does anyone know another way of getting this to work?

I basically want to hook up a projector, but there is no signal being sent out, there is only 1 port on this laptop , i just bought the laptop on adverts and it came with a clean install of xp, so maybe a driver issue?? any advice or help would be great.

    Thanks
    Bandit

by rights it should be a hardware settings

but would be best to download the latest drivers for the system anyway as some may use sw settings

check the BIOS too on the off chance there is a setting there (unlikely)

    moving to laptops
