After this thread, I'm thinking of paying my first proper visit to Tir Chonaill - I visited the Franciscan Monastery in Donegal town years ago - and I'm wondering where would I find the remains of the Ó Dónaill/Ó Domhnaill lordship there. Are there any inauguration sites as there are for the Ó Néill in Tulach Óg outside Dungannon? Is there a commemorative stone in Lough Swilly? Is there a museum which tells the amazing history of the area?

    Thanks.
