Combo TV, best solution?

Looking for a TV that does Saorview and Freesat, I know Panasonic do combined Freeview HD/ Freesat TV's, can anyone offer opinion on them? Do they do 7day EPG for DTT and Freesat? Any help appreciated

The Sony KDL-32V5810 is the only one available now I think - http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-12-32V581&pages=1&prod=32V581&brands=SONY&image=. Search for "5810" here in the forum for reviews.

Samsung are releasing freesat TVs this year - http://www.joinfreesat.co.uk/index.php/samsung-announce-freesat-television-line-up. Not sure about Saorview compatibility.

I'd forgotten about that one. Thread here from a year ago.

Works OK with both Freesat and Saorview according to this post

That ebay seller doesn't ship outside mainland UK. Doing a quick search here on boards Richersounds do/did stock them. Do a search on the boards for "G20"

Open to correction on this, but I think it has two separate epg's, one for Freeview and one for Freesat, so you can't have Irish terrestrials on same epg as BBC1, BBC 2 etc.

That would be normal for this type of combi TV. I own a Sony W5810 and it works that way too.

That's a slight kick in the teeth anyway but still handy instead of having a separate box. Can you arrange channel numbers yourself, so 1-4 are the irish and onwards are the FTA UK channels?

Not possible on the Sony, button press to get into the satellite section or terrestrial section.
