These are the two big shows down south on the 24th. Whos going to which show? I'll more than likely do the Junction again for the third year running, though Millstreet looks like it will be a good one again this year. Pity these shows clash, as im sure they are equally as good.

I was at Millstreet last year, It was a good show but LOTS and LOTS of Ford Escorts. If a sea of Ford is your thing then Millstreet is the one for you.

Millstreet for me, I found Tipp show lacked enough space for cars.

Went to the Tipp show and where the show myself was good and well run the auction was disappointing. Couldn't hear the auctioneer and would have been better if they drove the cars up. Prices were a bit unrealistic on some of them but there was a really nice cortina gt with a 3k reserve. Would have made a good buy at that.

Tipp was good, weather held out, nice amount of cars and commercials there and the airshow/acrobatic display was something different. Also the MX5 rebuild was something not done before anywhere i reckon?
Downsides were the lack of a microphone for the auctioneer and there was only one actual automobile tradestand among what was more or less a car boot sale

I bet Millstreet was good also as we passed many cars heading that way on our way up, and most of the Tralee contingent headed that way this morning.

I got there early this morning so the Scimitar got stuck in behind a few cars. Didnt think they needed to park the cars in a way that nobody at the back rows could get out until the end of the day if they needed to. So I had lots of time on my hands to take some photos as you have seen ;)

Plenty to keep me entertained though, Planes, cars, trucks, Guns, tractors, Modified motors, Dogs and good food ;)
Nice day alright, at least the weather held out :)

If i had seen Corky i would have come over for a chat. No sign though! Then Kermit disappeared!
Yes, attendance seemed down, but Millstreet was a big draw for the more southern crowd too.

Tipp was very enjoyable. Lots of nice cars....

One thing though.... I did notice a lot of disrespect for other people's cars. I caught people sitting on my car several times. One lad even had his feet on the chrome bumpers.

Indeed, pretty much as big and american as a 4 door saloon gets really. Imagine your old man bringing a new one of those home in '58...
