    Hey guys

Just wondering if anybody knows if there are many work opportunities around campus during the Summer, like caretaking or whatever? I plan on staying up for the Summer to get a kick start with the masters and will need a bit of money!

    Thanks

Work in NUIM during summer is generally about who you know and not what you know unfortunately. If you have any fitness related qualifications you could give Paul Davis the Sports Officer a shout for the gym but normally nepotism rules.

I know it's not on campus but that new Abrakedabra going in across from the Roost seem to be looking for people at the moment. Don't know how long it'll last but it could be worth a shot.

Not sure if it's still the case... but the conference and accommodation office on the South Campus used to hire students to clean the campus apartments during the summer. Call in to reception (it's in Stoyte House as far as I can remember) and ask about it. Get in early because places fill up quick. It's a bit manky cleaning up after the students for the first couple of weeks but after that it's pretty cruisy and good craic if there's a good group of you!
