I'm really interested in doing this but it seems like a lot of people do beauty therapy courses so I'm wondering if there are many jobs in the area? I applied for a retail management plc course but am thinking about applying for beauty therapy instead. I'm really interested in doing this but it seems like a lot of people do beauty therapy courses so I'm wondering if there are many jobs in the area? Would I be likely to get a decent job after the 2 year course? I'm especially interested in the makeup side of it and would like to work on a makeup counter, are there many jobs in that?

Also, one of the entry requirements for the course is Leaving Cert Home Ec or Biology. I did my LC last year but didnt do these subjects, just did Home Ec for JC. Would it be possible to get into the course despite this? Should I apply anyway? Any advice would be appreciated.
