Thinking of buying a 1.5 diesel Laguna, it's a 2008 with low miles and looks very clean. My only worry is I have never owned a Renault and have a concern over reliability. Anybody on here have one or is there a reason I should look elsewhere.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm biased because I have one for sale, 2008 Privilege dCi, and because I sell them for a living, and genuinely they are the best car in terms of reliability to date that Renault have built ! Just make 100% sure its got a documented service history, ideally with a Renault dealer. Which model are you looking at?

To be fair, since 2008, and practically since they released the current Laguna, their reliability has gotten much better apparently. I believe reliability was one of their primary targets in the current Laguna

Hi just wondering did you buy the laguna. I am looking at one myself. Took it for a drive and it was nice to drive but have never bought a Renault before.
