Hi, I have myself booked into get my eye laser surgery done with Optilase for a few weeks time. I know this doctor is doing the surgery but the thing is I came across his website and it seems he has his own clinic in Cork also. I was wondering if I went to him directly, I might save some cash? I'm a student so a few euro would go a long way. Has anyone done this or would you advise against it? Is it cheaper or more or less the same price?

    Thanks.

Just saw your post now. Did you have that surgery done in the end?

Corkweb did you get the treatment? If so which one?

I went for a consultation 2 weeks ago in Optilase Cork and was told I was suitable for Wavefront Lasek, Lasik or the Intralase. I was thinking of going for the Intralase becasue I don't like the idea of the alcohol or getting my eye cut. Has anyone else had the Intralase done and if so how did it go?
