I'm learning to drive and have booked my theory test; but with the new rules that have come in since the 4th of April, will I need to do the lessons to get my learners permit or are the lessons for after I've got my learners permit and want to get my full license?

    Thanks!

You must complete and pass your theory test. After doing that you can apply for your Learner Permit. It's only when you have a learner permit that you can get lessons.

    Cheers for clearing that up!
