I'm trying to trace a 1978 Ford Granada, reg. number 644CIF, it was last known of in the Ballyheigue area of co. Kerry. Does anyone know if it still exists or if they ever remember it? It was silver with a black vinyl roof. Any help would be appreciated. It not of any particular value, only sentimental. Thanks.

    When was it last seen?

1994 and owned by a Mr O'Leary as far as I can remember then.

I would be very surprised if it survived, ballyheigue is right by the sea, salt air won't have done it any favours.

It more than likely fell victim of the scrappage scheme holocaust.

Possibly but the reg. is still active, it hasn't been recorded as scrapped. There's a chance it might be sitting in a field or a shed somewhere, well here's hoping anyway.

Well my parent's old Escort Mk3 (263PZU) was scrapped in 1993 and yet it still shows up on Cartell.

It might reappear on an imported Granada sometime soon!

I would say it's very likely to, rather than might....

That would be great! I'd love to see photos of it, I can fill the owner in on it's history or if he wants to sell it i'd be interested in buying it.
