Rent Relief (Change??) After Marriage

    Hi all,

    Got married there in September.
Renting away as a single person and got relief up to €400 in the year but will the revenue adjust this up to the €800 allowed for married persons?
I can ring them but would rather know what I am talking about before chatting with them. They know I am married now, I told them in March and they dropped a relief for year of marriage into my pay this month (Nice of them to so it so fast) but looking at the paye anytime on their site, I see my rent relief is still listed as €2000 instead of €4000. Will they change this or does it only change for the next year?

    Thanks all
    irish

I just told them on the phone, beglee, and they did it all there.
It went straight into my bank account then after about 4 weeks. Didn't go near my pay so check your bank account.
They will also send you a balancing statement and you will see it on that too.

I emailed them about the rent relief too but haven't heard back from them yet.
