Disability allowance

Hi guys , to update, called disability allowance today for the latest on my claim, sent 9 weeks ago. Waiting time now 6 months, when I asked if id be sent for a medical exam, (was on DA before and stopped because of change in household income and have had 2 SW medicals in last 7 years. Both were granted permanent disability). Surprised to be told that they are not sending anyone for medicals now, that your claim will be decided on by your documentary evidence?? I get the feeling that sending in those 3 consultants letters with the form wasn't a bad idea and maybe I should send as much detail on my disability as possible at this stage, save them coming back and asking later. Will I get to see any human during this process? My condition is pretty unusual, I'd like to think they really read these forms. Anyone have any new info on the process ? Thanks
