External Hard Drive work on PS3 ?

    I want buy one to put films on and look at on the PS3. But I heard somewhere that the big ones dont work on a PS3, as in a 1TB or higher. Does anyone know anything about this as I want to be sure before i get one. Theres a 320GB one on dabs.ie for €40. Seems like a good offer.

    The big ones work fine i use a 1TB seagate that i got in easons for €80 (i think they're 50 now)

    Only thing you have to do is reformat them to FAT32

    what you should of heard is regular 1tb internal drive doesnt fit into the ps3 without some sort of machete chop chop action to the chassis

    an external drive any size, formatted to fat32 will work fine, i have an ex 1tb hooked up !
