simple flyer A4 and A5

Hi guys,I have an old pc with windows xp,I need to do up some simple flyers for shops on A4 halved sized with no pictures neccesasary just text,can anyone give me an idiot proof quickstep guide to do this that i could print out and copy.

Are you wanting to print on a5 or print two up on a4. What printer do you have?

some printers allow you to print two pages per sheet of paper

if not then convert the document to a pdf
( openoffice and newer versions of word and excel do this - or install pdfcreator from sourcefourge to allow all apps to print to pdf file)

then use acrobat reader to print two pages per sheet of paper



or you could set paper to landcape and two columns in your word processor

I need to print 2 on a A4 sheet,i only need to make up about 20 or 30 and i can cut them in half myself,my printer is a hp deskjet 1050 print scan copy.

As Capt'n Midnight suggested use your word processor to use two columns on landscape and print them that way.
