New Businesses listed with the CRO

Hi Folks, I've noticed that when I register a business name, I receive flyers from companies within a week after I receive the certificate Do these companies subscribe to a list from the CRO and get an "alert" when a new business is registered?? or do they receive a list of new business names?

they may subscribe to cro or to some other company search websites e.g. vision-net; some of these list companies by date registered.
