Prank calls in the Deansgrange and Sandyford area?

I was talkin to the oul lad today and he said at half 4 this morning the hosue phone rang and the mother answered it where a guy said he was with the water board and there was a problem with the water in the area and could she get up and flush the loo and run the tap. He also asked where did she live which was a bit weird…

He also asked where did she live which was a bit weird cause he rang the house to say there was an issue with our water so surely he had the address.

I also spoke to a friend who said he got one of them last week.

Is it just a prank call or is it someone checking if someone is in?

I say its a prank. If it was someone checking out the place they would hang up straight away.
