I have a upc hd, pause rewind box, and recently bought an av wireless kit(slx 5.8ghz wireless av sender) to send the signal from my living room to my bedroom.
I set up the av kit and recieved only sound in the bedroom (upc box in the livingroom) and a blank picture.
When i removed the hd cable from the upc box in the living room i received the picture and sound in the bedroom.
I realise that the av kit im using is connected via scart on the transmitting and receiving end, but the upc box does not seem to allow both the hd and scart outputs to operate at the same time.
The reason i am trying this is to see if this setup would work for sky as it would work out cheaper for me to get sky without the multiroom. (as i dont have a fixed landline- which you need for sky multiroom)
I bought the av wireless kit in power city and it has to be back before 9 tonight -if im bringing it back- so that i dont get credit instead of money back on my laser!
Any help before then would be great!

dude it's only about a fiver extra a month for multi room with upc. Don't bother with the sender.

Read the message! I want to change over to sky, but to get their multi room i need a fixed landline which i dont have and dont want.
Thats why i was testing the sender albeit on upc cause thats the service provider i have at the moment!:)

You would be better off using a HDMI splitter box to give you two HDMI feeds. Then the Sky box when you change would be a direct drop-in.
