Just wondering, does anybody know what age you have to be to do a theory test for a tractor or work vehicle(think thats catagory 'w'?)do you have to be 16 or is is possible to do it at 15?

Any answers will be a massive help. I am seriously confused at the minute! thanks.

I am 90% sure you can apply for and do your theory test when you are 15, but you won't be able to drive on the road until you turn 16 and after receiving your Cat W licence.

In theory there is no age limit at which you can do your drivers theory test! However, you must submit your application for a learner permit no more than 2 years after passing your theory test. So, effectively, in your case you can do the test at 14.
