    well
    ive a 06, 1.6, tdci ford focus
story is when im driving around 50-65 mph a shudder takes over the car, the shudder /vibration will stop once i take the foot off the accelerator, and come back into it when i press the accelerator.it feels like an out of balance drive shaft.ive rotated the tyres,
what i do know is the c.v joint is worn,im getting that clicking on hard locks. im wondering about buying a whole shaft from box to hub in case its the inner c.v joint or an out of balance shaft, or just take a chance on the c.v joint which has to be changed anyway. parts are pricy.
i guess my question is would a worn c.v joint give that vibration im getting.
again the vibration stops when i stop accelerating, which i think rules out things like tyres, balancing etc
many thanks for reading this boring complaint......

Aye start with the CV joint and if you bring it to a mechanic for this they can check when car is on lift to see if there's play in the drive shaft or other parts.

Press in the clutch when your driving and see what happens. It could be a dual mass flywheel either:eek:
