Eve Lom cleanser

I've just bought the Eve Lom cleanser because it gets such good word of mouth. I have a very oily t-zone with occasional break outs on my chin and the skin on forehead is dehydrated. Oh, and enlarged pores on my nose.

Fed up and hoping that this cleanser will solve my skin woes. Has anyone tried it?

Should I be using it twice a day or just in the evenings? I'm seeing conflicting information. Also, should I use a moisturiser in the morning?

Any feedback from your use? I've also heard great things about the rescue mask and i've gotten some samples. They also gave me samples of the TLC moisturiser.

Anyone have any suggestions of a moisturiser for dehyrdated but also oily skin?

    Thanks!

    Hi
I bought eve lom on online recommendations also - used it for a little while and then gave up.
I think the smell is awful - even my friend tried it and said she wouldnt be able to put that on her face everyday.
I also hate how the muslin cloth gets dirty from makeup and never really looks very clean. I prefer disposable cotton pads with makeup remover.
It does remove makeup well but you have to do the whole "ritual" - I've tried it with cold water and it doesnt work.

So thumbs down from me but apparently lots of people love it.
My favourite cleansers to date are by vichy and also I had this sample size of cleansing gel by Dr Baumann - but have no idea where to buy it, it is a salon product I think.

I tried it and loved it - didn't mind the smell. I didn't do the full ritual every night but did a mini-version, and found it really relaxing to do before going to bed. Thought it was excellent at gently removing eye makeup, and really made my skin soft, smooth and hydrated. I used my normal facecloths (gently) as well as the muslin one, as the previous poster said it can get quite dirty after 1 or 2 uses. Only thing for me was the price... while a pot lasted a long time, it was pretty expensive so didn't re-buy when I finished it up.

I only used it at night - in the morning I would just use a toner and moisturizing lotion to freshen up my skin.

I recently bought the Rescue Mask and LOVE it - also expensive, but as I'm only using it once a week a little bit goes a long way, and I've had really good results - highly recommend!

thanks for the replies! I have to say I don't mind the smell at all- reminds me of essential oils or a facial!

I've started using it at night only and using moisturiser afterwards on my forehead and cheeks. I've noticed a big improvement during the day in terms of oilyness. My pores are less visible too. But I have noticed some dryness on my cheeks.

I've used the Rescue mask twice (got samples) and I really like it too but the cleanser is fab.

I might splurge on the rescue mask next month.

    Thanks :)

Completely OT but you can pick up muslin in a haberdashery for about a 5er per metre

Or I just use a facecloth with similar products I have - a boots time delay copycat & a Sanctuary one too.
Also you can gets muslins in boots for babies. They'd be big ones you'd cut up into squares.
