Availability of Unfurnished Rental Properties

Myself an Mrs W. are selling up and plan to go renting while we wait for the market to bottom out. We'll be looking for an unfurnished place, but they appear to be pretty rare on Daft.ie.

Would your typical landlord be prepared to remove the furniture from the property to accommodate a tenant who has their own furniture?

Do Irish tenants just not own furniture or are the forced to put it in storage and put up with whatever they find in the rental?
