I got a letter from the department saying that in accordance with the National employment action plan i have to attend my local employment service office. Here i will get support on ' how to find work, advice on the preparation of CV's, access to free telephones and newspapers where available' . Basically im being called for interview 'for a discussion on the range of options available to you'.

So what exactly is this interview about? can anybody offer some tips?

    what should i wear?

    Nothing to worry about.
Found the crowd I went to to be very helpful, got some really useful advice on my cv and that they are only trying to help.
Think it would be important not to miss it though as it would raise a red flag with the social welfare.

Has anyone gone to the interview with FAS at Cornmarket street in Cork City? Exactly where is it? What side of the road as I would walk down towards Lavitts Quay? Thanks.

What is the duration of the interview?
