I am thinking to get a service done for my 04 Mazda 3 1.4L, here is the price from Halfords.

    Oil Filter
    €6
    Air filter
    €17.70
    Spark Plug
    €31
    10W40 Oil 5L
    €26
    Total
    €81

Any suggestion for better place and better price (the spark plug is bit pricy I think)?By the way anyone have used LIDI’s 10W40 engine oil before (Sell at €17 for 5L)?
    Thanks!

Check the price in your local motor factor, they're usually a fair bit cheaper than halford imo

You wont find cheaper then here for your plugs, if you buy two sets it definitely worth the P&P

    http://www.mister-solutions.co.uk/bkr5e-11-spark-plug-117-p.asp

They are also cheap for GT85 and grease... http://www.mister-solutions.co.uk/oils-cannisters-and-funnels-211-c.asp

Pity they don't do oil and air filters but i reckon your local motor factors would be cheaper for the oil and filter....

Nah. 5W20 or 5W30 or 10W40 SL spec. Although I have 5L of fully syn 5W40 at home ready for the wife's 3 that I'm sure will do just fine.

I always go main dealer for the oil filter and everything else a combination of local motor factors or Halfords depending on the time of the day. Local motor factors always comes in cheaper for me than Halfords but Halfords is great for getting parts on a sunday or late evenings.
