Returning faulty hard drive to Amazon UK?

    I bought a 2TB Seagate hard drive from Amazon UK last November and now it has died.
    Not until I looked into the problem with the drive, did I find that there is a huge failure rate with this particular model.

    Anyway, what is Amazon's return policy? I had a look around their site last night and can't find a way to return a faulty product after 3 months from purchase?

    Do I have to email Amazon UK direct or an I missing a RMA section for products purchased longer than 3 months ago?
    It also looks like they try to fob you off to go direct to the manufacturer.

    They usually have a contact link down on the bottom right of certain pages.

    You shouldn't have to select an order and still go through the returns message process ,sometimes they'll offer you a phonecall instantly during office hours.
