Every lad seems to have his own way of doing things. Seems there's for and against each

    What do you do?
    • Do you let them out to grass just before calving?
    • Calve them inside and then let them out?
    • Keep all cows and calves in until enough grass to let all out

Calve them all at grass, started just after paddys day

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

usually leave them in till they calf or until there is grass ,it can be a nuisance to have them calving outside and something to go wrong
