Pampas Grass dead or not

We have a pampas grass it has turned into a big clump 5 foot high and 5 foot around......after the snow and frost it looks dead.....any one know will it come back to life THANKS IN ADVANCE

It should start to grow again in the next month. Its a good time to cut/burn away the dead vegetation now.
