*crosses fingers* Please let it be <SNIP>, please let it be <SNIP>.

It says there they haven't talked to the journalist so they probably don't want to give him/her a heads-up.

Though, if he/she has read the story, they'll surely know.

They won't name him/her because they might not have done anything at all and thus, it would be unfair to tarnish his/her name.

I'd love to speculate though it would be innappropriate. But there's one particular creepy fella that I reckon it is. Though I have no real reason to think so other than the head on him

    "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"....

    Heh.

I suppose because giving <redacted>'s name out at this early stage would be libelous, and might potentially prejudice an ongoing investigation.

    I hope that's it anyway.

    I'm getting a vision.
I see a tangerine orange faced "journalist" leaning on the railing of a balcony.

They say negetive equity does quaar things to people......

This thread will go nowhere with just idle and possibly salacious gossip.
As much as we might dislike a person, its totally wrong to state anyone's names here (I feel anyway) with these reported occurrences.

I have a strong sneaking suspicion who this is. He's holier than thou.

First guy I thought of was this guy, but he's not Irish.

    Tomorrows column.

"Scurrilously uncontrolled libel by evil 'people' who think themselves hidden behind the veil of anonymity"

    Or something along those lines.

In this instance, as the prominent journalist has not been named we might leave this closed.
Speculation etc wouldnt do anyone any favours at this stage.
