Passport question

I'm flying to Spain from May 2-9th. My passport expires May 11th. Is there any restriction on using a passport so close to expiry or is it counted as valid up to the expiry date? Any definitive answers would be appreciated.

yeah, had look at the Spanish Embassy website after.

IRISH PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

Validity: the passport must be inforce in order to enter or to leave Spain. A minimum period of validity is not required.
