Does the grant pay for your entrance?

If you are eligible for the grant then you don't have to pay the registration fee. If you haven't got notification of if you have your grant by the time for paying the fee then you can either pay it and get it refunded when you get your notification or show them a letter saying you applied for the grant.

    Thank you...

One more question.. How do they base the grant, on what bounds? Income levels of family is one of them right?

It's your income, your family's income, how far away you live, whether you're living as a dependent or whether you have any dependents etc. If you go to http://www.studentfinance.ie/mp7232/maintenance-grant/index.html it will give you a pretty accurate estimate of what you should expect.
