    Hi guys,
I bought this round thing in pennys today, as thought it might be nice to put a bun in my hair (have long hair), but the instructions are terrible and cant figure out how to do it!!!

    Any one please advise me!!!

If the thing you bought looks like a round doughnut, just put sock bun into youtube and there are loads of videos. I have one and everyone thinks that the bun looks so complicated. Little do they know!!

Thanks! Didnt even know what it was called.
Awh thats brilliant - have figured out how to use it, but have no pins to pin away the "left over" hair.

If you search for the 'sock bun alternative method' you won't need any pins, it's a bit more complicated though :)

I don't use any pins. I just tuck those pieces of hair around the bun and use plenty of hairspray to keep them hidden. All it takes is a bit of practice
