Seeing was a lot better on the 7th, but only managed to get a capture on the 8th.

Still nothing fabulous, but improving all the time.

Cannot get my camera to resolve as well as my eyes yet :)

Possibly either a focussing or maginifcation issue....

Nice pic! What scope and eyepiece you use for that one?

    Hi all,

    Gear:

Celestron G8N 8" hybrid reflector (lens between Primary and Secondary).
    CG5 Mount with RA tracking.
    2.5x Revelation Barlow.
    Philips SPC900NC with IR/UV filter
WxAstroCapture software at 5fps and high contrast.

    Post Processing:

Only about 700 frames, stacked 200.

    Ran through K3CCDTools3 first
    Then Registax
    Then GIMP.

As I stated in the initial post, eye views were a bit better.
But the barlow introduces some chromatic.

Have been reading some tips on IFAS and may try with higher frame rate next time :)

    Clear skies,
    Peter
