Short Recording Courses?

I'm sure this is a well worn out subject.... Is there any short but cheap courses in dublin that just goes over the basics of home recording and production? I have all my gear, there's only so much internet reading I can do :o I know Pulse have the courses, but they're a bit expensive for me. Anybody got any…

Plenty of schools do night courses on music technology etc.. check out your local collage/secondary school.
