i bought a walker 19 inch LED tv for the kitchen today , old one wasnt saorview compatible so thought id upgrade , cost me 159 euro , anyway , the 1st problem i see with this set is the sound , its very poor , no real outward sound , the second problem is the digital teletext, the controls are all over the place in terms of selecting what page you want to go to or when it comes to scrolling up and down , i knew in advance that walker were a budget tv but had been told they were baschically decent

As for the sound quality thing, its an LED set, so presumably fairly slim. Its a small set anyway so unfortunately, that combined with the slimness means it always gonna have fairly poor sound quality unless the manufacturer really tried, and in the case of Walker they aren't gonna go to a huge effort in the sound quality department. At 19", its almost arguable that a lcd model would probably give better sound, for the opposite of the above reason

As for Walker tvs, most people would agree that as a budget set, they are fairly ok. Its hard to say in your case unless you could compare to a Samsung or Toshiba 19" or whatever..

so the sound would be superior on a walker LCD

Well like, its dificult to say, but, in general, theres a better chance of sound being better on an lcd due to a bigger bezel.
