Anybody got any experiene with Rent a Coder. Is it a good idea or a bad idea. I see a project on it that I could do in about 2 days. Most of the code I have written before. Never freelanced before. Is there anything to be aware of when doing something like this. Price is $1000 dollars. Seriously tempted.

i would be looking for a deposit up front or to have the money given to a third party before you hand the work over to the buyer.

Also make sure that the requirements are crystal clear up front and signed off on by all parties. Make sure that there's no way the client can misunderstand what you're going to deliver and of course that you yourself know exactly what you are going to deliver.
