It could be some sensor busted. I would get her hooked up to a diagnosis machine and take it from there.

Is there an engine warning light coming on? If not then the Opels are prone to the crank breathers and throttle body getting clogged up, especially if it does alot of short trips.

1 : Coil pack ( fits on top of spark plugs ) known to go faulty.
2 ; Throttle Body (Back of engine) You need to clean out your throttle body. Particularly the 2 breather holes under the butterfly valve from the inside. One hole is tiny and makes all the difference. There is a small hose going in to the bottom of it and it is usually full of gunky oil, so just take it off and put a paperclip through the small hole to clear it.
3 : You may be advised that it is the Mass Air Flow sensor, but in most cases its not the problem.

There will almost certainly be a fault code logged. You can try cleaning out the breathers and throttle body as advised, and failing that, the car will need to be scanned.
