Aer Lingus website: why the programming stupidity?

So, I've spent a good number of hours on the Aer Lingus website looking for a place to go for a week. It has one great feature, its TripFinder function. The recent addition of a route map à la Ryanair is also brilliant (although they should give it more prominence on the website). After that I'm struggling to like it.

Most especially, the designers refusal to keep my search details is driving me ballistic with that website. For instance, when I do a search for Dublin to, say, Nice, for 25 April until 2 May, it doesn't keep that information as my default information when I go back a moment later and, say, search for Dublin to Bordeaux on the same dates, and so on. As I'm open to going to most places in Europe on those dates I end up putting precisely the same seven pieces of information in each and every time I search for a new destination.

Fortunately for Aer Lingus's finances they are all but part of a duopoly on air travel from Ireland so there isn't much alternative to their website. There's no link on the website to send a complaint about the utter disrespect for customers' time that this website incompetence represents so here's about as good a place as any to vent my frustration!

    /end rant.

it is extremely annoying. the search cities and dates are gone when you go back to them.

also, the drop down menu for the destination city is a waste of time. you click on it and several cities appear but you have to scroll down to find the one you want.
