How does this work?, is it simple to set up?. I have a BB 9700 phone and an IPAD 3G, I dont want to purchase a data plan for the pad as i think I can access the net via the BB phone, how does it work?

Basically you need to get the BB to transmit a Wifi signal for the iPad to connect to. Whether you can do that on a BB I haven't the foggiest (I'd be doubtful). Search wise you'd be looking for "MiWi" for your particular model.

    A. It basically turns your handset into a wifi hotspot
    B. yes
    C. You need an app for your BB, for iPhone it's called miwi, but I don't believe that it's compatible with the BB, however, a quick search on the BB AppStore took me here

I used to use a BlackBerry Bold, the WIFI radio will not do this, which is a pain. I believe that it is still the case. Best grab a payg sim and use that
