Distance from Cherrywood to Motorway

I note that the only bus serving cherry wood directly is the 84, which comes once an hour. However, the N11 seems to be close enough by on the map...how long would it take to walk to the 145 or 7 bus from the Luas stop? Is it over a mile?

It's about 1KM from the LUAS to the N 11. Some 7's terminate in Cherrywood if you are looking for a connection. If push some to shove and if it gets you closer to where you are heading to, perhaps consider getting the 145 rather than the LUAS.

145/Luas is fastest way to cherrywood from city, 145 stop is 500 yards from cherrywood business park.

About 5 minutes walk if even that

I do this regularly - it's about 7 mins from the 145 stop up to Cherrywood Business Park (uphill), but only 5 mins back (downhill, and on the closer side of the flyover).

Also, when heading inbound, if you cut through the park (ask someone the way) it is about 3 mins to the inbound stop by the Silver Tassie pub.

(*One odd, and entirely unscientific observation on my part - whenever I wait at the Silver Tassie stop a 145 comes straight away, but if I wait at the flyover stop it is always 35 minutes, and then the useless 45 arrives first - now work that one out!!!)

    * This is just a figment of the strange alternate reality I seem to be trapped in, it won't affect you when waiting for the 145, honest!

145 is quicker into the CC than the Luas anyway so if going all the way in just stay on it.

    5-10 min walk is all
