Have you still got these? If so what make or model are they? Any pictures? Thanks

Cheers, I'll be heading away for the weekend tomorrow so if you could just let me know what kind of style they are and what your rough asking price is so I know whether to submit my order for ones online or not before I go! Cheers ;)

    Depends what car you have?
I've a Golf and use a Thule clip on. Can't fault it. Bit more expensive but great to have.
Once you've it set up properly, you can have it on/off in 1 minute. No messing with straps either.

Cat not included. €25 each, they are in good condition, just need a dusting off. I don't know where the locking keys are anymore though....and I'm not sure of the make either. NB, you need a roof rack to attach these to. Mine had square bars, which are the best fit with these racks. They are a great rack, as there is no need to remove wheels etc, and you can still use the boot of your car!!!!!

I also have one of these, also €25.

Cheers, the locking mechanism is pretty important for me unfortunately...does the carrier just clamp onto the frame at the down tube? What is this like, the reason why I was looking for one of the wheel off models was to lock the fork into the rack and remove any contact points with the frame. What is this race like in this respect? Also where are you based?

This is the style of rack - although my one is not this particular model.
The benefit of this type is there is no need to remove wheels which can take up a lot of space within the car - dirt etc...
The bikes are 100% secure with this type of rack.
For anti theft security, additional chain and lock is needed anyway, regardless of the model.
Finally, I'm based in the SE, but I'm in Dublin every couple of weeks.

20euro for the tow-bar carrier if you still have it. Pm me if this suits.

I'll take 20, even better if you can take the two of them for 40!
However - at 20 a pop, you'll have to collect!

Sorry for delay in replying...I dont think I'll be taking them off you man! I don't fancy clamping down on my nice carbon frame downtube even though I know LOTS of bike racks do this but I'm just fussy :p Also I'd like to have some lock on them even if it is just a deterrent as opposed to an anti-theft locking system! Based in Limerick myself too so meeting up might be too much hassle anyway, might just go for these unless anything else pops up in the very near future! Cheers and good luck with sale :)
