This fight is tomorrow night (Saturday 9th April) from New Jersey, USA.

I watch the occasional high-profile Boxing match, but don't know anything about McBride other than he beat Tyson a few years ago, does he have any chance tomorrow night?

My Polish mate at work raves about Adamek and reckons he could give Haye or one of the Klitchko brothers a decent fight, so maybe Adamek is viewing this fight tomorrow as just a warm-up.

Any thoughts? And is this being screened on any Irish TV channel tomorrow?

    Decent article here http://www.irishcentral.com/sport/Kevin-McBride-eyes-upset-against-Tomasz-Adamek-119475874.html

This is a disgusting, ridiculous mismatch. Adamek by harpoon.

just seen the weigh in 285 vs 215. Mcbride dont look 4 inches taller than adamek when they squared up more like 2. Doubt mcbride is 6.6. Anyway be surprised if mcbride won but you never know in a heavyweight fight anything could happen especially with that weight difference.

I fought McBride years and years ago in the non paid ranks and he was a bit taller than I am, and I stand at slightly over 6'3.

This should be a very one sided "fight" for as long as it lasts though. McBride is long past his glory days of beating Tyson and Kess (mind you he stopped Tyson, so I should be regarded as better than Tyson:pac:).

    Revised Heavyweight p4p list:

    McBride
    Kess
    Tyson
    Berbick
    Ali
    Foreman
    Frazier

I just cant believe this fight is going ahead. Adameck is going to go to town on Mcbride. I hope for his sake he doesn't take too much punishment tonight.

Adamek ko is 1/7 btw for anyone that has enough money to make some dough from that one. Really should be less than that.

    One of his better rounds.

Adamek should have finished this fight long before now. He lacks power, which could well cost him in the future.

Adamek was nothing special.Tis a pity McBride wasnt more effective.Spose he was happy with the payday he was getting.

McBride never really looked fazed by Adameks best shots.

In truth he did a lot better than I thought he would.

This is why i believe he'll have a real problem when he test himself against the best in the heavyweight division

Agree, i've seen him a good few times in these warm up fights and he hasn't hurt any of them. He's good to watch as he's pretty atheltic and he's a good boxer but it's all about ducking his way in..land a shot or two and then get out of there.
The fight against Arreola was a great matchup as everytime Arreola landed he had Adamek in big trouble, while Adamek was doing everything to win it on points. Arreola broke his hand which saved Adamek that night.
He's getting K.O'd by any of the better heavyweights but big kudos to him for trying the division.
