    Hello all,

Some of you may be aware that we're running a Boardstock event at the end of this month in order to do some fundraising to help those affected by the recent series of earthquakes in Japan.

What is Boardstock? It's an opportunity for Boardsies in bands to show us what they can do and for everyone to have a few beverages and generally have a good night out.

So what's happening this time? Well, for a mere €5 (paid on the door, no pre-sales, on a first come first served basis), you will get to hear to the following 5 excellent bands:
    Susie Soho
    Hamlet Sweeney
    Time is a Thief
    Nugget
    Beastmen

But that's not all! If you like what you hear, each of the 5 bands listed above have donated a track to a CD which will be on sale on the night for the paltry sum of €10. On top of that, you get a track from the following 5 Boardsie bands too:
    The Riot Tapes
    Peaks
    I Phoenix
    Mola
    Entheos

    But wait, there's more!

We have a list of awesome sponsors who are giving us raffle prizes and/or time to help make the event happen:

The most excellent folks CD Duplication.ie are producing the CDs for us FREE OF CHARGE (so all money from the sale will go straight to the relief fund).

Track Mix Studios and Bluebird Studios are each donating a free day in their studios. This is 2 seperate prizes in 2 seperate studios so if you've got a tune or two you always fancied recording, you'd best dig deep into the pockets when you see someone selling raffle tickets on the night!

The Castle Hotel in Dublin has given us 2 nights B&B and dinner on one of those nights for 2 people which would make for an excellent weekend break for anyone. For example, a weekend's soccer match...

Speaking of which, the fine people at Molson Coors have given us 2 tickets to see Ireland vs Scotland in the Carling Nations Cup at the Aviva Stadium on the 29th of May as well as 5 cases of beer (which will be seperate prizes - that's far too much booze for one person )

But you can't be going off to a soccer match on an empty stomach so Michie Sushi in Ranelagh have given us a voucher for one of their rather excellent Party Sets which you can have in their place or take away.

Yamamori have also given us a €100 voucher for either of their 2 restaurants: Yamamori Noodles or Yamamori Sushi for some more excellent Japanese cusine.

Since you can't have dinner without desert, and you definitely can't have Easter without chocolate, Cocoa Atelier and Butlers Chocolates have both given us a hamper of their amazing chocolates for the raffle too. NOMNOMNOM!

Raffle tickets will be €1 each on the night - we'll make sure you can see who's selling

So that's the line up and the prizes on offer so far (there might be more to come and if you have something you'd like to offer, please send me a PM). Please let us know (on the poll) if you'll be coming or not, it's sure to be a great night.

    Dav
