Great. Theres actually some brilliant bargains on there, especially for older games.
Any problems with condition of the discs?

So far I have picked up two games from them one for the ds and one for the ps3

The box for the ds game was like a new one a lot better then what you get in gamestop and the game works

I also picked up greanday rockband for the ps3 an the disc and box was something else for a 10 euro game not even dust on the disc and the code to put the songs into rockband 3 was never used

But I have been reading that discs can be hit and miss but so far so good

Also they give very good trade ins in store for games and blu rays

Sent them an email and I got the following reply
    Dear muffler,

    Thank you for your email.

I'm afraid that we do not currently deliver to Republic of Ireland. I apologise for any inconvenience.

    Kind regards,

OP, I paid using Paypal and ordered DJ hero for xbox and a few cheap dvds to see, order went through. This was about 2 weeks ago and still nothing, I also noticed that the confirmation email did not say Ireland in the address even though its in my address when using paypal... any ideas?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 689 ✭✭✭donegal11

I order from them and it came no problem through paypal, my address didn't have ireland on it either so perhaps royal mail didn't know where to send it .Not everyone in royal mail would know the geography of ireland i.e if cork,carlow...etc where even in ireland

At the weakened i ordered a set of 3D glasses for for my tv for 44 euros now to see will i get them because i have only ever got games from them so i set here and wait now

So you DID or did not get the items you ordered even though your address didn't have Ireland on it? I didnt understand what you meant...

Like my paypal address has Ireland on it, but in the confirmation email from CEX it said my address was, for example:
    Joe Bloggs
    Springfield
    Tallaght
    Dublin

Ireland was missing from it, are you saying yours was the same but you still got the stuff delivered to your house?

How about you samapple? When your games were delivered did they have ireland on the label on the package and did it say ireland in your address in the confirmation email from CEX about delivery?

I ordered from them and it came no problem

I was looking at my paypal after i ordered and it took a week after confirmation for them to take money from my account and just under a week after that to be delivered. If your address was dublin I'd say your safe enough due the 3 bank holidays in england within the last two weeks as samapple789 said, but I wouldn't chance buying any expensive hardware on it though.

edit :Oh and my confirmation email had Ireland on it but not the envelope the game came in.

This is like Russian roulette here.
Would ye really bother with this is if the customer support explicitly stated they don't deliver to Ireland?

Sounds like you're asking for trouble!

Thanks OP for doubting you, stuff arrived here today, the label did not have Ireland on it though, but it still got here! :D

Not sure if id risk buying expensive electronics on it, but ill certainly be buying cheap cds/ dvds/games on it in the future, all the things were in mint condition also!

why not just try their shop on Liffey Street?

Because I do not live in Dublin, they are cheaper on the CEX UK website, and much bigger selection.
