DTT Signal Strength

Have a Samsung LE 32 C 530 tuned to Saorview for the last two months and always getting 94 to 99% signal strength with an attic aerial in Swords.

Bought a new Samsung LE 40 C 530 and plugged it into same aerial outlet and tuned it to digital stations. Checked signal strength and was only getting 61 to 64%. Reconnected old tv and got 97% strength.
Does anyone know why this should happen? Could it be tuned to a different transmitter?
Signal Information (Same for both TV’s)
    Frequency 738000 Khz
    Service ID 044D
    Multiplex TSID03E9 ONID 2174
    Network RTENL (ID3201)
    Bit Error Level 0
    Signal Strength 97% (64% for LE 40C)

    Thanks
    AleoN

I don't think the readings displayed by tvs are an absolute measurement; it's just the particular set's interpretation of signal level, quality etc.

They won't all give similar readings from a similar input.

Both Saorview and D-Book have implementations for an algorithm to express signal strength but I don't know how to convert the percentages into dBuV for example.

Thanks for replies guys. Was just afraid it was the TV.
