I have never seen the likes of it. Every second road is closed. It is a nightmare trying to get around the town.

Hosey's over to Fire Brigade Station closed.
From Askea Childcare over to the church
    Road at the rowing club
Road beside Town Park in Graigue.
Traffic lights with roadworks on Dublin Road.
Is Granby road closed also around the IT?

I was trying to get from my house to Dunnes - I had to go a crazy round about route. Leaving the house to drive somewhere is a tourist tour around the town :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Jaysus the town's not that big, you make it sound like Detroit. :D I bet if you measured your regular route against the detour there'll be only a couple of km in the difference. Anyway I usually find it's faster and better to avoid the town centre going to Dunnes from Staplestown Rd end of town.

The road from Golden Grill over to Workingmans Club is also closed.

I live in the centre of the town - 8/10 coming/leaving house I use the Hoseys/fire station. There is a lot of roadworks at the moment in the town - a crazy amount.

Drove around Carlow recently, it seems they are doing a big drainage system.

The net result, as always will probably be b*sterdised road surfaces when they're finished.

Why do Irish guys rip up the roads in the tyre tracks area?

Noticed that the French open the road under the sump, ie in between the wheels...

its not just the drainage system. They are also doing a lot of repair works to waterpipes from winter. the work out side med bar & aib was that.

Thank god part of the road is open now at hoseys.

Have any of you seen the junction @Fire Station - it is crazy. Came across it today coming from St Catherine's, made note to myself not to go near it again for a week
