SCAMMED ON EBAY

Hello

I bought a phone on ebay off a ebayer with very high feedback ( 80,000 )

when i bought the phone i was told it would take 10 days to arrive

which i thought was very long to come from england to ireland as i was paying for express post.

10 days later no phone. I messaged the seller and no reply.
( And on his ebay it stated the phone had not been dispatched yet)

then after 3 weeks of waiting i opened a paypal case within a hour

he sent me a tracking number for royal mail. when i checked this number it said the item was delivered.

I do not know if this was a tracking number off a different item he just sent me to pawn me off what should i do?

Don't mean to be nasty to you, but you should put a second "m" in "scamed" to make it "scammed", which is what I think you mean.

OP how about posting a link to this eBay trader and we should soon be able to tell you whether or not they are scammers.

If he has a proof of delivery , then you need to take this further and request a copy of signature .

You can ask the logistics people yourself or ask seller to provide a copy of signature .

Escalate your dispute in Paypal to a claim. This will get Paypal involved, and they will look for proof of delivery to you.

You can also request delivery confirmation from the An Post, to see who signed for it. The Royal Mail number should be traceable here.
