Hey guys I applied for JSB 4 weeks ago today and supplied my P45, proof of address, fit to work cert, 2 forms of ID etc and qualify for payments I was told at the counter. I received my SW card in the post last week and when I went to the SW office last Friday they said that I would receive a letter in the post about signing on etc. Nothing yet this week :( Is there anything else I must do now?

I understand that I gotta wait etc, but I'm in dire straits for money now and was wondering if I could show up to the CWO and enquire about some allowance? Bills and rent due next week. Would I need to take anything in particular to the CWO? Can I just turn up out of the blue? Appreciate any replies. Regular poster but using my friend's laptop.

This is in Carrigaline, Cork county btw.
